The location offers handy access to nearby attractions, right near the coastal area, making beach visits a breeze. The room had a spacious layout, giving some breathing room after a day of exploring.
The shower had a mind of its own, alternating between ice cold and scalding hot, making it a challenge to wash up. the window didn't shut properly, letting in unwanted street noise. Found some mouldy bread during breakfast setup, which understandably turned my appetite away, especially at those prices. Minor decor updates could freshen up the overall vibe of the place.

The Dolphin in Great Yarmouth had a few charming aspects, especially the proximity to the pier and attractions. The staff kept a friendly demeanor, always eager to help when I could find them. The room, although needing some updates, had nice tea and coffee facilities. The mattress, however, felt worn out and uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The bathroom showed signs of neglect, with a hole in the ceiling and water damage. The shower barely had any pressure, so I avoided using it entirely. The room carpet was dirty and had stains, which added to the discomfort. the absence of room service and the restaurant being closed were disappointing, as I had come to expect those amenities from previous visits. A significant downside was the slamming doors from neighboring rooms, really disrupting the peace. there’s potential here, but a lot needs addressing to enhance the stay experience.

Great location and cozy vibe!
We spent 7 nights here and the location is just awesome, literally steps from the beach! The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was decent sized with comfy beds. But the drink prices were a bit steep. Breakfast was delish, especially the poached eggs! Be warned tho, no lifts in the hotel, so lots of stairs.

Recommend it for families with kids
Spent 2 nights there with my family, and let me tell you-the room was massive and beautifully decorated. It had these crisp white sheets, and the beds were super comfy. Even the dog loved the lovely garden outside!
Wasn’t exactly cheap, but honestly, for the size and comfort, it was still acceptable.

The stay was enjoyable, especially being so close to the seaside and local attractions like the Norfolk Nelson Museum and Hippodrome Circus. The room was clean and spacious, which made our experience comfortable. we were disappointed that basic toiletries weren’t provided, and it would have been nice to have more toilet paper available.

the hotel was right next to the beach which was super nice and easy access to town. the staff at the night were friendly and helpful, really appreciated that. comfy beds but the room was kinda dated. location was the best part tho, can't beat it! overall decent stay.
The breakfast service was terrible, had to wait forever for food and when it came it was barely cooked. also, the room had a damp smell and old carpets.
